When Local Knowledge and Legal Experience Matter Most
Real estate decisions carry long-term consequences. Having an advisor who understands the law, the market, and the community makes all the difference.
Buying or selling a home is often one of the most significant financial decisions a person will make. It’s also a process filled with legal, financial, and emotional considerations that deserve careful attention.
With more than four decades of experience as a licensed real estate attorney and years as a practicing Realtor, I approach each transaction with a focus on clarity, preparation, and protecting my clients’ best interests from start to finish.
Living in Medfield since 1987 and serving the community in various leadership roles has given me a deep appreciation for the town, its history, and the people who call it home.
- Over 40 years of legal experience guiding real estate decisions.
- Deep, long-standing involvement in the Medfield community.
- A thoughtful, steady approach to complex transactions.
A Legal Foundation Built Over Decades
I was admitted to the Massachusetts Bar in 1978 after graduating from Boston College and the New England School of Law in Boston. Since then, real estate law has been a cornerstone of my professional life.
That background allows me to anticipate issues before they arise—whether they involve title matters, zoning concerns, easements, or contract language that may carry long-term implications.
Clients appreciate having an advisor who can explain the legal side of a transaction in plain terms, helping them move forward with confidence rather than uncertainty.
Perspective“Good decisions are made when you understand both the opportunity and the obligation.”
Serving Medfield—On and Off the Page
Medfield has been my home since 1987, and my involvement in the town has always extended beyond my professional work.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of serving on the Medfield Board of Appeals on Zoning, working closely with residents, developers, and town officials on matters that shape the character of the community.
That experience provides valuable context when advising clients on zoning, land use, and the nuances that often influence property decisions in Medfield.
A Commitment to Community Leadership
My involvement with Medfield Employers & Merchants Organization (MEMO), the Medfield Lions Club, and numerous local nonprofits has been a source of pride and purpose.
From organizing Discover Medfield Day and the Summer Concert Series to serving on nonprofit boards for decades, these roles reflect a belief that strong communities are built through participation and service.
Those same values—integrity, reliability, and commitment—guide how I work with clients.
A Thoughtful Approach to Real Estate
Becoming a Realtor in 2016 allowed me to bring my legal background directly into the real estate advisory role.
My focus is on helping clients understand not just the transaction, but the implications of each decision—pricing, timing, disclosures, and long-term ownership considerations.
Whether working with first-time buyers, long-time homeowners, or families managing estate sales, I strive to make the process as clear and well-informed as possible.
Trusted Guidance Through Every Stage
Many of the clients I work with are navigating transitions—downsizing, relocating, or selling a home that has been in the family for generations.
These moments deserve patience, respect, and careful planning. My role is to provide steady guidance and ensure that every step is handled with professionalism and care.
It’s a responsibility I take seriously, and one I’ve carried throughout my career.
If you’re looking for thoughtful guidance rooted in experience, legal insight, and deep local knowledge, I’d be glad to help.
